Sharon Eicher
Economist and Educator
Dr. Sharon Eicher is an economist, educator, and wife and mother. She grew up in the Sacramento Valley of Northern California. She has lived across the United States, as well as in England and Kazakhstan, and has earned five degrees.
Despite these experiences, she was unprepared to parent a child with mental health issues. She discovered that the parents of a child with a disability are largely on their own. She aims to improve communication between schools and parents and to support parents who are new to this process.
