I am the school counselor at Sheridan School in Washington, DC, a therapist in private practice, the author of the recently released 聽(Hachette, 2019), and a frequent contributor to The Washington Post. I聽am also a regular columnist for Kappan (PDK, Intl.) and AMLE magazines and have written for a number of national and international publications including Working Mother, Your Teen Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and Psychology Today. My professional work in the school setting has been featured in The New York Times and Mindshift KQED.
