Marilee Sprenger

Author and Speaker on the Brain, Learning, Memory, Common Core Standards

Marilee Sprenger focuses on the whole child and creating brain-compatible environments in which students can learn according to their needs. As a professional development provider and author, she is passionate about using what we know about the brain, learning, and memory to assist educators in transitioning to the Common Core State Standards. 鈥淲e will be changing the brain in positive ways as we increase our students鈥 critical and creative thinking to prepare for college and career.鈥 Marilee is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Learning and the Brain Society, and the Cognitive Brain Society. She is considered an expert in brain research regarding learning and the brain and is a presenter at educational conferences and professional development workshops nationally and internationally about the brain, learning, memory, differentiation, reading, vocabulary, and standards-based learning.
