Laurel Maxwell has worked in various roles as a teacher in Northern California. This included four years as a special educator and three聽in third-grade聽bilingual education where she wrote her own curriculum. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic leading workshops for Dominican Educators in classroom management, creating low-cost didactic materials, and how learning styles impact student learning.
